I am watching Sania play Serena at Melbourne. The commentators somehow have the problem digesting the fact that someone from India is in the third round...This
stupid commentator Tim Ryan says she was born in Mumbai, formerly Madras.... cannot believe that these fellows cannot do their homework right before going on air....
She blasts a backhand return winner... I think this girl has the potential if she is hungry for more... Serena is little too powerful for her..
Sania's favorite tennis player- Steffi Graf but the commentators tells us that Sania has been shy to go and introduce herself to Steffi even though she has seen Steffi around....Serena is just bullying her but Sania has some deep groundstrokes...
Sania looks equally good from both sides...Serena just keeps bullying her with her first serves but Sania hs quite some zing on her forehand...
Nirmal Sekhar is on TV... He is one of my favorite writers on Sportstar... I would give him a great deal of credit for some of my vocabulary....
Sania has 3 breakpoints....Serena creeps to "DEUCE"... Sania makes Serena see red... Advantage Sania....Serena serves an ace....Serena holds...
Boy, Sania can hit the ball...She has a pretty neat serve.. She is doing it without much grunting ... Serena does all the grunting...Sania holds serve at "love"....

Hey Sud me too loves Nirmal Shekar's articles. This is the first time I saw his face (on ESPN2).
Remembers me of a German movie I saw someime back. Adi Dassler character provides some spike shoes to the German footballers jus before the World Cup that they won in Switzerland (I dont remember which year '54??)
Yeah it was 54... Germany hd to wait for 20 years after that to win the next Julius Rome trophy as Black Pearl "Pele" and his Brazilian team won three after that.... In 1966, the English football team won...
