AZ Diamondbacks gave the state of Ariozna its first ever sports championship and it was exhilirating fun. Randy Johnson, Curt Schilling, Luiz Gonzalez and the list goes on.... They had a horrible last year but they have reshaed their roster and they are a better team now.... I am keeping my fingers crossed and I hope and pray they are in te pennant reace come spetember....

Gilly, Don't be silly
Adam Gilchrist is one of the vital cogs of the aussie juggernaut. The tea whose poster adorns my wall wants him. Yes, Boston Red Sox are rumred to have extended their arms for the priceless pearl in the Aussie crown. But the man is 34 and facing upto Randy Johnsons, santanas and Zitos will be quite a prospect. I think Gilly should stick to his guns and stay with cricket.
But as a Red Sox fan, it is tough to imagine where they would play him, even if he agrees. DH seems t be the only logical option but in DH, they have the indomitable man who engineered their last season comeback - David Ortiz.....
Lakers in La La Land
The curtain came down on the Los Angeles Lakers basketball season. I am experiencing a rare saddistic pleasure that they are no longer NBA's top brass. Phoenix ending their playoff hopes was also an icing on the cake. To say that, i hate the Lakers is an understatement. I hate every single LA and NY based teams. They have the money and they try to win champonships just by using those green notes. I hate Laker fans as well. When they use reign supreme, you should have tried telling them Vince Carter, Kevin Garnett or Peja Stoijakovic was good and they immediately came back and said "Kobe or Shaq is better". Laker fans take that, you a****les. Come back next year and take some more disappointment.
